Christmas Squared
Here is my finished Disappearing Nine Patch table topper. After rejecting both Plan A and Plan B, I ended up just doing straight line squares in a moss green thread, with my walking foot. Quick, easy, no fuss no muss. Just what I needed. Not fancy, but done. And these days, done is good! After a quick trip to Moncton on Saturday, I got the dark green paisley print from this collection for the binding, very happy with that choice. How are you coming along with your Christmas sewing projects?

May you have the gladness of Christmas which is hope,
The spirit of Christmas which is peace,
The heart of Christmas which is love.

Done is good, and I love it! Good luck this w/e with your concert. Sorry to miss it but have fun!
Christmas sewing projects!? I'm barely treading water with the Christmas decorating/gift buying! Yikes. Love the topper.
Your "done" is definitely good :) Gorgeous and the color combo works really well.
I like how you've quilted this, Linda; the vertical and horizontal lines are in juxtaposition to the diagonals in the design. How do you keep your lines even - do you mark one and then use the bar for the rest or...?
Yes Karen, I often mark the first line and then use the bar, or edge of foot if the lines are really close together. Sometimes I mark all the lines. Just depends on the project, bow many seams and color of fabrics
Ah, that's HOW many seams and color of fabrics.
It turned out very nice indeed.
