Isn't it terrific that you have your mom's tulips to help you think of her too. Maybe that's why they have bloomed for so long. I must say you grow the best lupins out east, my soil must not be quite right for them but I keep trying.Judith @ Lavender Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16361061491506137380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1967923947576216828.post-20526564887128469692017-06-22T09:14:39.596-03:002017-06-22T09:14:39.596-03:00Oh Linda, your lupin and rose header is just perfe...Oh Linda, your lupin and rose header is just perfect! ♥
Your tulips are lovely too. I enjoyed growing tulips in Italy, where the summers are dry. Here the plants decline in vigour, no matter if in open soil or stored indoors for the winter.
Lupins are starting to bloom now. I too hope to take and share some nice photos. :)
Thank you for your kind comments. Tulip bulbs have to get good and cold in order to bloom. You have such lovely ones...what a show! And how special that they were your mom's. Gosh, you love next door to your childhood home? So do my children...for the next three weeks that is. Veehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00618654361869856894noreply@blogger.com
