February Notecard Party and Spring Thoughts...

It's time again for Vee's Notecard Party. I missed it last month, so didn't want to miss out again.. these monthly memes are fun and I've met so many nice people by participating. SO here goes...
I've said it more than once.. (but here I go again) I'm sick and tired of winter!! It's never been my favourite season, but this year it seems to be extra long and tiresome. Enough already! I have not felt one bit inspired to go out and take photos this winter, in fact, I've been "hibernating" even more than I usually do.. So I've decided for this month's Notecard Party, I'm going to pretend I live somewhere warm.... somewhere where you can look out the window and see green.  And flowers. And gardens. And SPRING!!! So here are my choices for some "spring-y" notecards. I hope all my blogging friends who are also tired of this seemingly never-ending winter and its snowstorms will enjoy this little breath of spring and color.... (I haven't yet looked at what the other participants have done this time around, but I'm wondering if others, especially those in the northern realms, are thinking the same way I am ...Surely I'm not the only one feeling tired of winter).

And the Boxtop...

I hope these colorful images will cheer you on a cold winter's day (as we receive yet more snow overnight...arrgghhhhh)  Be sure and drop by Vee's blog to see more lovely Notecard Party entries...

Peace,
Linda

No matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow.  ~ Proverb

Hey Linda, I'm your first visitor and I LOVE your choices for notecards this month. They are gorgeous photos and I especially love the white bleeding heart one. I hear you're in for a snowy week again. Maybe when I get home you and I should make the effort to get out and shoot some pictures. What do you think?

Very pretty . I am not a big fan of winter either but I still like getting outside and finding winters beauty and capture it . The more I get out there the easier I find I am getting used to it I just layer and off I go with my Miggs . I am not a house bound type I need my fresh air each and every day an outdoors person lol ! Thanks for sharing . hope it gets better so you can get outside ! Have a good day !

Hi Linda
I'm in Florida and these wonderful spring flowers cheered me! It might be warm and sunny but there are no flowers to be seen in our area.
Stay warm, I've been thinking of my Canadian friends getting so much snow this month. I only hope we get an uneventful stretch to drive home in at the end of the month.

Lovely photos. I don't mind winter because I know it's not going to last. Spring will be here soon enough and then the heat of summer.

Exceptional flower photos that really do bring a smile! I am enjoying this winter more than I might have because of being outside every day for an hour or so watching the boys with their sledding. It helps somehow.
