Happy St. Patricks Day!

Today is the day when there are supposedly only two kinds of people in the world- those who are Irish , and those who wish they were! With a maiden name of Kelly, I'm sure there's a little bit of Irish blood in me somewhere, and if not, I'm going to claim it anyway! I've been lucky enough to visit Ireland twice and would dearly love to go again... Someday... (The images here are from the Internet).
The Ladies Choir I'm in sings an Irish blessing, and I have to say, it's one of my favourite pieces in our repetoire. I'd like to share the words with you:

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And the rains fall soft upon your fields.
Until we meet again my friend
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Peace,
Linda

May your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you wherever you go.

wish I was Irish...got lots of Scot and Welsh in me , so I guess being married to a 3rd generation Irishman will have to suffice. Nice Irish blessing..

Very nice. Did you know that our friend Kathy F. is going to Ireland for a visit this year. It was her Christmas gift from her son. I've never been there, but it's definitely on my list of places to visit.

Happy Saint Patricks Day to you Ms. Kelly!
